Whole House Renovation in Ramona, CA
Hey everyone, this is Brandon with Freeman’s Construction. I’m here in Ramona at our whole house remodel and it’s the last day of 2019. Oh, it’s been a great year for us. I hope you’ve had a wonderful year as well. I want to give a progress update on what’s happened since our last video.
Passing Inspections
We passed a couple of inspections today. Our exterior lath inspection, the drywall nailing, and the water service inspection all passed so now we can keep moving forward with the next steps. Let’s do a short walk through so you can see all the changes.
Home Exterior Finishes
This is the entry, as I’ve shown you before in the videos. The posts and beams were stained since the last update, which turned out great. This stain is going to match the garage door, it will have a wood grain look and color to it, which will give this house a really sharp custom look from the front. In the next week or so, the scratch and brown coat will go on the exterior of the house for the stucco. That alone will create whole new look.
Home Interior Finishes
Let’s look inside to see the drywall that got hung. This floor plan takes a whole new look and perspective once that all the drywall is hung. You can see the large area in here for the kitchen, dining room, and great room. In the back of the house, you can see the bedrooms and office area. This home has a Jack and Jill bathroom too. It’ll serve both bedrooms in here. Here is the barrier-free shower we looked at in our last video. There’s going to be a smaller walk-in closet for this bedroom that’ll go right there. Next stop is the master bedroom.
The Master Suite
So, this is the master bedroom. It has a beautiful view out the back towards the east. The bathroom is large with a barrier-free shower as well. There’s going to be a large soaking tub centered on this window. The owners will be able to enjoy this beautiful view overlooking their backyard. We have a large walk-in closet that you’ve seen before, but the drywall gives a good perspective on just how big this is, which adds a big benefit to this house.
