Whole House Remodel in Ramona, CA
Hey everyone, this is Brandon with Freeman’s Construction. I’m here in Ramona at this whole house remodel we’re working on. We’ve made a lot of progress on this job since the last video update when we were pouring concrete. If you look around, you can see all the interior walls have been framed. The framers have been here the past couple weeks and have made great progress. You can see where the island will go which has been prewired and plumbed for the island cabinet to be installed. The kitchen also has a walk-in pantry over here and a breakfast buffet nook area. We’re going to install several large sliding glass doors to take advantage of the nice views that look out towards the west. The fireplace over here was framed in this morning. This large open area we’re looking at is going to be the family-great room area.
Finishing up the Rough Electrical
Coming up at the end of this week we’re going to begin the rough electrical work soon. We have a little more plumbing to finish up, but I want to show you the floor plan to the rest of the house. This area here to my left is going to be an office. I’ll turn around here and show you the bedrooms. One bedroom will be right here. This area will have a powder room. I’ll take you into bedroom number two. This bathroom here will serve both bedrooms. There’s a curb less shower going in here. One of the things I really like about this floor plan that our client has chosen is a lot of large windows that makes this house feel even larger. We have another large slider out to the west, and again, it’s going to look really, really good.
The Master Bedroom
This spot here is the only area that we didn’t add anything to the original floor plan. This is going to be the master bathroom and over here is going to be a very large walk-in closet. Another curb less shower here in this bathroom. There’s going to be a freestanding tub centered on this window.
Exciting Part of the Project
