Building a Freeman Family Home
Good morning. This is Brandon Freeman with Freeman Construction. I’m in Ramona at this lot of ours. We’re building a house for my family. Today is a big day. We are pouring the concrete on this house today.
We’ve been pushing hard to get to this point. We completed the foundation inspection two days ago. That inspection includes checking all the rebar, the hold-down bolts, the layout, confirming that every trade beyond that is in place, and we just had a lot of little details to wrap up before this morning.
Today we have about eight trucks coming. Right now, we’re on number four. The concrete guys just finished off the garage and they’ll move on in just a bit here. After that they will move on down into the house from the kitchen and over throughout the rest of the house.
Today is an exciting day. My wife and I are thrilled to see this happening. I took this short video at the end of the day, to show you what’s going on, and where to go from here. Have a wonderful day.
